The field is split into four Cells by three Breakers. Live Cells are open to the Charge carrier; Dead Cells are locked. Score by reaching the Ground.
Enforcer snaps the Charge · Conductor passes · Sparks are fast and juke · Volt is a power runner who breaks tackles. On defense: the Insulator plays deep and Resistors cover.
No downs. Teams trade the Charge after every live play. Two 2:50 halves. After each turnover both sides get a 10-second play call to pick a play, set MAN or ZONE coverage and make a sub.
The carrier can't cross into a Dead Cell. Open it with a completed pass across the Breaker (a Jump) or when a defender touches the carrier: any defender contact lets the carrier advance into the next Cell (movement only, no points). Grounding the Charge scores 1 point per Live Cell (1–4).
Only the Enforcer may tackle, and only inside his white half circle. Any other tackle is a penalty shot. A defender staying in contact with the carrier for more than 3 seconds, anywhere on the field, is Blocking: also a penalty shot.
At most one offensive and one defensive Ohm in the white half circle, and one Ohm from each side in the red zone, Enforcer included. Two attackers inside is a turnover; two defenders inside is a penalty shot.
League rule: if the ball touches the ground it is a turnover, even while in possession.
An incomplete pass is a Short: simple turnover. An interception is a Blackout: if the return is grounded, those points are subtracted from the offense. Team scores can go negative.
Joystick on the left. Throw wheel (C top, D right, B bottom, E left, SNAP in the center), ACTION and SPRINT on the right.
Playoffs are The WorldOhm Cup, the final is The Megavolt, the champion lifts the Omega Cup, and the MVP wins the Golden Ohm.
